Yes, So I've quit my job. And it feels great!
I was stuck in a job which required me to not think. OK- maybe to think- but not to create, only to translate.
And even though I still have a month to serve there. I still feel so Free.
Enough of that.
Why am I here
Why sign RED-
Yes, it screams for attention, but it also represents some of the most intense emotions. And more importantly it represents most of the emotions that are closest to my heart and most recurrent in my nature.

Why am I here
I'm here because I like to express. But unfortunately I'm not much of a writer. And I can say that with surety because I know too many others who are brilliant writers :)
Why DesignChikitsa
I have a design background- and it is what interests me the most. I am technically a Knitwear Designer- a NIFT Delhi graduate. But my interests lie beyond clothing. I've known this all along.
What most people don't realize is that design is just not aesthetically appealing. It also has to have a purpose behind it. While ART is a means of expression. DESIGN is infact both- a means of Expression as well as a Solution. And since it is a solution, it is also a form of Therapy- more on this later! :)

Courage, Rebellion, Passion, Anger, Impulse, Danger, Vigor, Power, Strength, Love, Friendship, Willpower, Longing, Joy, Celebration, Liberation and so much more. It represents too many conflicting characteristics and yet it is every bit of what it claims to be. Funny how that works!
Oh- and just to add to the above- here's a visual of a wall in my Living room! Its RED! :) and it has a collage made of my work from the first ever design module I had in College- Elements of Design. Each 5''X5'' square represents an individual concept- But together they represent that I'm ready for a new beginning! :D
So here I am, ready with my first post!
